The Made In Indy podcast visits Chef Oya, creator of The Trap. A #deliciouslydope seafood experience unlike anything around. We catch Chef Oya on the 3-Year Anniversary of the opening of the Indy staple, and we get up close & personal with the community building trendsetter. “T.R.A.P.”an acronym which stands for “Towards Restoring food Access to the People,” which is actually just the tip of the iceberg of what Chef Oya does for the community. We get candid about Oya’s experiences growing up on the east side of Indianapolis, the food deserts in the Circle City, and the advice she lives by that has brought her to where she is today.
