Dr. Jevon & Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross

Family & Faith.

Family & Faith.

The Made in Indy podcast sits down to chat with Dr. Jevon & Reverend Nicole Caldwell-Gross of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. The pair share the incredible story of how they met at an early age, and how their paths continued to intertwine at different points in their lives. We discuss what it was like growing up in the city of Detroit & how values instilled by their families propelled them to pursue careers in ministry and complete seminary school at Princeton University.

We dive into the conversation surrounding the responsibility of spiritual leaders to speak out in the face of injustice for all impacted communities. Also, the couple recalls how they both knew that the path of ministry was for them; while imparting us with wisdom to anyone interested in pursuing the calling.

Later, I pose the question, “What does the word “God” mean to you?” Listen to our full conversation below + Visit Dr. Jevon’s latest published writings here & their collaborative project “Justice or Just Us?” here.
